I got my first wakeboard with the old school sandal bindings when I was 14 years old and learned how to wakeboard behind a 1982 GlassMaster with a 115hp Johnson outboard motor. Despite begging my dad for a wakeboarding boat (and my dad constantly saying NO), I was fortunate enough to have some friends with good wakeboarding boats who encouraged me to skip college organic chemistry summer classes a few too many times and go wakeboarding instead.

I also have a passion for outdoor adventure!  Some of my favorite outdoor activities include wakeboarding (obviously!), fishing, camping, and kiteboarding. I am an extreme sports enthusiast with over 500 skydives including wingsuit jumps, hot air balloon jumps, and 1 BASE jump off the New River Gorge Bridge in West Virginia.

I currently teach Outdoor Education at Meadow Glen Middle School.  I have a Doctorate Degree in curriculum and instruction, and I am also a SCDNR boater education instructor and American Heart Association CPR/First Aid instructor. I attend Mt. Horeb UMC in Lexington and enjoy spending time with my wife, Caroline, who is a dentist at Palmetto Dental Associates in Lexington, and my three sons, Levi, Micah, and Canaan.
